This Acceptable Use Policy describes how customers and authorised users may use Autopilot Limited ("Autopilot", "we", "our", or "us") websites, applications, services, features, communications tools, AI features, APIs, support, and related services.
Scope
This policy applies to customers, authorised users, administrators, and anyone else who accesses or uses Autopilot through a customer account.
Customers are responsible for their users and for ensuring their use of Autopilot complies with this policy, the Terms of Service, applicable law, and any separate written agreement with Autopilot.
Communications
Customers and users must not use Autopilot to send or support:
- spam or bulk communications sent without required rights, permissions, consents, notices, or legal bases;
- unlawful marketing, unlawful direct messaging, or communications that breach privacy, anti-spam, marketing, consumer protection, or communications laws;
- deceptive, misleading, fraudulent, or impersonating communications;
- false, misleading, deceptive, or unlawful communications about vehicle availability, pricing, finance terms, warranties, delivery, trade-ins, dealership services, or customer obligations;
- phishing, credential-harvesting, social-engineering, or scam communications; or
- communications that harm Autopilot, recipients, other customers, providers, or third parties.
Customers are responsible for deciding who they contact, why they contact them, and whether they have the required authority to send each communication.
Data and content
Customers and users must not upload, import, submit, generate, store, or transmit:
- data they do not have the right to use, process, disclose, or share through Autopilot;
- malicious content, malware, exploit payloads, credential-harvesting material, or harmful code;
- unlawful, harmful, misleading, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, obscene, or infringing content;
- content that violates another person's privacy, intellectual property, confidentiality, or other rights; or
- content intended to damage, disrupt, overload, or compromise Autopilot or another system.
Customers must not use Autopilot to unlawfully discriminate, harass, threaten, deceive, or target individuals through communications, workflows, automations, AI features, customer records, or uploaded information.
Customers remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, rights, notices, permissions, consents, and legal bases for customer data and content used in Autopilot.
Service abuse
Customers and users must not:
- attempt to bypass, disable, undermine, or interfere with permissions, authentication, access controls, rate limits, tenancy boundaries, or security controls;
- access or attempt to access another dealership's data, another customer's data, another user's account, or any system, feature, or information they are not authorised to access;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, copy, or attempt to derive source code or underlying technology from Autopilot except where law prevents this restriction;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, overload, probe, scan, test, or attack Autopilot except as expressly authorised by Autopilot;
- use bots, scripts, automation, or API activity in a way that is abusive, excessive, deceptive, unauthorised, or disruptive; or
- interfere with the normal operation, reliability, security, integrity, or availability of Autopilot.
AI features
Customers and users must not misuse AI features.
Customers and users must not use AI features to:
- submit unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing, abusive, or malicious prompts or content;
- generate malware, exploit instructions, credential-theft material, phishing content, or other malicious content;
- bypass safeguards, access controls, usage limits, or intended product behaviour;
- generate or automate unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, or harmful decisions or communications; or
- harm Autopilot, customers, users, recipients, providers, or third parties.
Customers and users are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them, sharing them, or using them in customer-facing workflows.
Security
Customers and users must not:
- upload, transmit, distribute, or use malware, malicious code, exploit payloads, or harmful files;
- attempt credential theft, password spraying, phishing, token theft, session hijacking, or similar activity;
- attack, disrupt, overload, scan, probe, or test Autopilot systems except as expressly authorised by Autopilot;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to Autopilot, customer data, provider systems, or related infrastructure; or
- use Autopilot in a way that creates security, legal, deliverability, reputational, operational, or service risk.
Customers must promptly notify Autopilot if they suspect unauthorised access, credential compromise, misuse, or a security issue affecting Autopilot.
Enforcement
Autopilot may investigate suspected violations of this policy and may take action it reasonably considers necessary to protect customers, users, recipients, providers, the service, or compliance obligations.
Autopilot may suspend, limit, disable, or restrict accounts, users, features, communications, API access, integrations, or other service access if we believe this policy has been violated or if use of Autopilot creates legal, security, deliverability, reputational, operational, or service risk.
Autopilot may also remove or restrict content, require corrective action, report unlawful activity where appropriate, or terminate access in accordance with the Terms of Service or a separate written agreement.
